Bronze Sculpture Plaque framed with engraving on front "1912 by Jno Williams NY" and along the side Allen G Newsom SC 12, size 6/5 by 4/25 inch's in a larger modern frame.   "Allen George Newman III (August 28, 1875 – February 2, 1940) was an American sculptor, best known for his statue "The Hiker.  Newman's early works were relatively modest, busts and relief portraits, or architectural sculpture for buildings at American expositions. He modeled life-size figures of The Pioneer and Greek Water Carrier for J. L. Mott Iron Works of New York City, which were cast in zinc and mass-produced.
