Interesting war date ALS by General Charles D Hamilton (relative of Alexander Hamilton) writing about drunkeness charges on a Lt Peet and mentioning in his letter Col. Hays (Alexander Hays of the 63rd Pa and Gettysburg hero).  Also with an ANS of General Charles Jameson on the verso who would die in 1862 of illness.  Rare combination and interesting history!
