Benjamin A. Robinson, Civil War veteran, of Co. B, 7th Connecticut Infantry Regiment. He was wounded at James Island, South Carolina, Pocotaligo, South Carolina, and New Market Road, Virginia, and served as commander of Merriam Post No. 8 G.A.R.  Residence Hartford CT; Enlisted on 4/25/1861 as a Private.On 5/11/1861 he mustered into "A" Co. CT 3rd Infantry He was Mustered Out on 8/12/1861 at Hartford, CTOn 9/7/1861 he mustered into "B" Co.
