Rare two volume set of the Harvard Memorial Biographies with the rare inclusion of numerous CDV Albumens of the subjects of each Chapter.  Written about the famous Harvard alumni killed during the War, the volume includes such famous and valuable images pictured above including Colonel Paul Revere KIA Gettysburg,  Colonel Robert Gould Shaw 54th Mass KIA Fort Wagner,  Colonel Thomas Mudge 2nd Mass KIA Gettysburg,  Capt. Thomas Fox 20th Mass KIA Gettysburg, Colonel Fletcher Webster Jr 12th Mass KIA 2nd Bull Run,  among many others too numerous to photograph.  Value of the CDV's alone probably reach's over $25k if on original mounts.  All albumens are original first generation images removed from their original mounts and tipped into the volumes.   A really rare and valuable set of books.
